So Wednesday I wanted to check on my scores for my Gen Psych class. So I ask the teacher to see them. He shows me and mentions that he doesn't have my 3rd test, or at least no score there. I told him that I did it, and he says that I should call him the next day to see that he found it. So I call and he tells me that he can't find it and he's never lost a test before. While on the phone I go through all my papers and books in my bag and I don't have it anywhere. His response is, "Well my backs up against the wall. It's almost the end of the semester and grades are due at the end of next week." Now mind you, this test was turned in less than a month ago. I'm getting a little pissed at this time, I know I've done it and that I've turned it in. One of the other students even remembered that I turned it in. I ask the teacher if he could sent it to me via email and I'll retake that test. He says he doesn't have it on his hard drive. So now I'm SOL.... I'm being screwed out of a class that I'm now going to fail because of a lost test. And I've worked hard to maintain a B in this class.
Tomorrow I'm going to have to take time off from work and go to the school and talk with the head of the department or even the dean, to see what can be done, seeing that the teacher is unlikely to help me in any way. |

So, last night I get a call while at the movies. I didn't noticed it until I get out after 1 in the morning and I see that its from one of my best friends mother. Ok, not use to her calling me and I check the message. She was wondering if I had anyones # who lives need her son in Illinois....Oh Shit.....and to call her back on her cell. My mind is racing at this time, what the hell happened to Carl. She answers on the 2 ring and tells me that Carl and his wife had a fight and she had him thrown in jail. His parents where on their way for a 6 hour drive to help him out. So I have no idea what's going on down there and I couldn't sleep well. Need less to say, I didn't get to sleep sometime between 3 and 4am and didn't hear my alarms going off this morning. I so wish I could leave and head down there to help in any way. This sucks. |

Well after a week, I'm finally getting back to my normal sleep schedule. Youma took a lot out of me. To think I use to be able to stay up into the wee hours of the morning and function find after a few hours of sleep. Next year I have to make sure that I don't go from 9am to 5:30am and then work again after 2 hours of sleep.
On the little sleep subject, don't pack after said 2 hours of sleep in a room full of sleeping people. You miss packing things. I seem to have lost part of my Japanese garb that I used for part of my Jedi costume. Looks like I'll be working on a new one soon.
I'm looking forward to what pictures come out from the con though. There should be some new one of me as Mario at the Live Action Mario Party. I can't wait for next year, bigger place means bigger con and possibly a bigger "party." And the ideas going through my head for next years cosplay, mainly Youma seeing that its happening on Halloween. |

I needed a break from all the cleaning, painting, and moving thinks around in the house. So here's an interesting half-time show from a Japanese football game. Kind of puts the Super Bowl to shame.

Right now, Flint has decided that they need to work on every road on which I take to get away from my home. So I've been driving down so many detours, I don't know which way is which. So tonight, while its dark and raining, I'm going down a one of the main road that the city is working on half and is a one way street. When right at the end of the construction where they have you go through the signs I hit a deep pothole that wasn't marked and I hear 2 large bangs. Now the car's not acting funny and I real don't want to stop in that area of town, so I continue the few blocks to my house. I get out and look at the tires and I see that the hubcaps are bent to hell.... great, just what I needed when I don't have the money. I then get a flashlight to get a better look at said hubcaps when I see the real damage. 2 rims are bent... oh joy. So not only do I get to buy new caps and get the rims fixed, I now have to worry about if I'm going to be able to make it into work tomorrow and there could be more damage on the inside that I can't even see. So tomorrow I need to check and see if I have road damage coverage for my tires and pray that the dealership will fix them. What a way to start off a week.

So the inspection went through and there was only a few things that needed to be touched up. All in all it a sound little house. So in a couple of weeks, I'll have a home to call my own. In the great area of Burton, this place is only 850 sq/feet and no basement, but everyone needs to start somewhere. There's enough space for myself right now. I'm planning on using the spare room for a hobby room, so I can keep all my figures and SCA / cosplay outfits out of the way. I'll be moving in a few weeks, so no more downtown Flint!!!!!!!!!!!!
